The General Conditions define the terms of sale between MERAIRTERRE and the User, from ordering to after sales service, payment and delivery.

1. Acceptance of conditions

The client acknowledges that he understands the specific conditions of sale shown on this screen and expressly declares to have accepted these without reserve. The present general conditions of sale govern the contractual relationship between the Internet Site and the client, with both parties accepting these without reserve. These general conditions of sale prevail over all other conditions shown on any document, unless with prior, express and written agreement.

2. The products

The products governed by the present General Conditions are those shown on the web site. They are suggested as long as there is stock available.

3. Prices

Product prices are quoted in Euros including all taxes in France and European Union. They take into account the VAT and any possible reductions applicable on the day of the order. The prices of the Products are shown exclusive of the delivery costs (port, packaging and stamping according to the current amounts) The amount of delivery costs will be specified on the order form before validating the order. 4. The order

To complete an order, the User must be identified with his email address or his client number and password.For a first order, the User should follow the procedure for creating an account as indicated on the Web site.Once the basket is validated, the User should accept the General Conditions, choose the address and delivery method and validate the payment method. 5. Payment Methods

The User can pay by the following methods:By bank card: credit card, e-card, Visa, MasterCard, American Express. The User's account will only be debited when the available products have been sent. Where products are out of stock or unavailable, the User's account will not be debited.By bank transfer: When you transfer money, it may take several days - even up to one week for international transfers - for this to reflect in our account. 6. Delivery

IMPORTANT: All our packages are insured, risks connected with transport are borne by the seller, on the condition that the buyer has verified the merchandise (outside and inside) on receipt and in the presence of the transporter, and has noted any observations on the delivery form, even when postage has been paid. If the package is damaged, the buyer must refuse it.This is the only time that you will be refunded by MERAIRTERRE.
If the package is lost during transit, enquiry times may vary.
If there are issues during delivery, these must be notified to the delivery person by registered letter within 48 hours, with a copy of the email sent to us, accompanied by a copy of the invoice and the original packaging.
Delivery times are only given as information and should these deadlines be exceeded, no deductions, compensation, damages or interest or compensation will be made. For deliveries outside of Metropolitan France, the client undertakes to settles all taxes due for the import of products, customs duties, value added tax, and any other taxes in virtue of the laws of the country receiving the order.
MERAIRTERRE undertakes to be responsible for any legal responsibilities regarding taxes which are not covered by the client.Force majeure events such as war, riot, fire, strikes, accidents and the impossibility of supply discharge the seller from his obligation to deliver.

7. Right of retraction and exchange

7.1. Right of retraction (only for deliveries within Europe).
You have 14 days (from receipt of the articles) to make any comments.For exchanges and reimbursements, contact us then send the new articles in their original packaging, intact, with the purchase invoice to the following address:
MERAIRTERRE SAV 18 Rue Vignon 75009 PARIS FRANCEIn exercising the right of retraction, MERAIRTERRE is required to reimburse any sums paid by the client, without expenses, with the exception of the costs of returning the item.
The reimbursement of initial shipping expenses will be done only for parcels in Metropolitan France.MERAIRTERRE undertakes to reimburse the amounts to the User who has exercised his right of retraction, within the shortest possible time and at the latest within thirty (30) days following the exercising of this right.
MERAIRTERRE will reimburse the User for the returned products, subject to compliance with the above mentioned conditions, as well as the basic postage costs if the User returns the entire order.
If the User does not return all of his order and keeps one or some of the ordered products, the delivery cost amount will be retained by MERAIRTERRE.

7.2 Exchange. The user also has fifteen (15) days to request an exchange.The User should not then pay the delivery costs for a new exchanged order.The User can return his product to MERAIRTERRE by post, at his expense.

8. Warranty

All products for sale by MERAIRTERRE have a 2 year warranty, except for bracelets which are not guaranteed.The Client benefits from the legal warranty for eviction and hidden defects (Art 1625 and those following of the Civil Code.)On condition that the buyer can prove the hidden defect, the seller must legally repair the consequences of this (art. 1641 and those following of the Civil Code); if the buyer goes to the court, he must do this within a maximum deadline of 2 years from the discovery of the hidden defect (art. 1648 of the Civil Code).

MERAIRTERRE has set up a procedure for returns covered by the warranty:
1) If you encounter any problems please contact: the SAV of MERAIRTERRE by email at the address: contact[@]merairterre.com. Do not send your watch without the prior authorisation from MERAIRTERRE.
2) In the event of a merchandise return, you must send your watch in its original packaging.

9. Disputes

The present contract is subject to French law.
MERAIRTERRE cannot be held responsible for damages of any nature, whether material or immaterial, or physical, which may result from the improper operation or improper use of the products. The responsibility of MERAIRTERRE will be, in any event, limited to the amount of the order and will not be called upon for simple errors or omissions which may have persisted despite all precautions taken in the presentation of the products.
In the event of difficulties in applying this contract, the buyer can, before any legal action, look for an amicable solution with help: from a professional association, a consumer protection association, or any other advisory association of their choice.
While looking for an amicable solution, this should not interrupt the period of the legal warranty, nor the duration of the contractual warranty.Under the general regulations and subject to a court assessment, compliance with the provisions of the present Contract relating to the contractual warranty supposes that the buyer honours his financial commitments to the seller.
The complaints or disputes will still be received with attention, good faith always being presumed amongst those who take the trouble to expose these situations.In the case of a dispute, the client will contact the company to reach an amicable solution.
