It’s precisely because our OPS watches - for Special Operations- have already proven themselves in the field that they are entirely legitimate for equipping the globetrotter or the man heading towards new adventures.
From our OPS Furtive to our Land OPS, from the professional needing stealth to the modern adventurer, our ambition remains the same: Legibility - Solidity - Reliability.
In addition to our monobloc 316L steel cases specifically designed for their durability, we have added:
- 300 meters of water resistance: our OPS watches are built to withstand anything, made for men who want truly rugged watches.
- A 4mm-thick sapphire crystal! The industry standard for a diving watch is generally 2 mm. We’ve doubled this thickness to make the watch even more resistant and capable of withstanding real impacts.
- Ultra-reinforced spring bars: those who engage in violent sports know the risk of losing their watch. In mountain biking, for example, shocks can cause one of the spring bars that attach the bracelet to the case to give way.
Left side crown, right side performance
In the midst of a rugged terrain, a man of action may face situations that are anything but ordinary.
That’s why, in addition to having screw-down crowns on all our watches, our OPS models come with an extra feature: A steel crown guard to reinforce the watch’s solidity in case of impact.
Moreover, the crown is positioned on the left side - with the exception of our Furtive model, for historical reasons and at the request of one of our reference customers. Although most of us are right-handed, many men in the field prefer to have a left-side crown to avoid it getting in the way during certain wrist movements.
