Since its founding, the Liechtenstein Princely Navy team has participated in the Dragon Boat Championship all over Asia, especially in Hong Kong and Singapore. The determination and endurance of the team, composed of local and expatriate members, celebrate and reinforce the power of team work as the heart of the Liechtenstein spirit.
Those values are shared by MAT watches and deeply rooted in the DNA of this new creation. More than just a timepiece, this limited edition, made in collaboration with the Liechtenstein Princely Navy is designed as a tribute to camaraderie, shared effort, and collective adrenaline.
Designed for action, this watch naturally echoes the discipline and adaptability required of navy sailors, who are all highly skilled rowers who have undergone rigorous special operations training.The Liechtenstein Princely Navy was founded in 2000 and is the only dragon boat team representing the interests of the Prince and the country of Liechtenstein.
Under the leadership of Admiral Silvan Colani, the Navy has steadily gained depth, power, and expertise, and is now considered one of the most formidable naval forces of all the landlocked Alpine countries.
Just like the legendary battle cry and team song of the Navy team, simply titled “LIECHTENSTEIN,” which resonates in dragon boat competitions around the world, inspiring both fear and excitement in rivals.
Maison MAT is offering each team member the opportunity to have a personalized inscription engraved on their watch, to be chosen until the end of February.
The pieces will be delivered starting in May 2026.
In a commitment to the development and appreciation of sailors' work, part of the profits from product sales will be donated to the Hong Kong Sea School.
