MATWATCHES X PHILIPPE BOURSEILLER
TIME, A GUIDE, A REFERENCE
The French watchmaker MATWATCHES is proud to present its latest creation: the NESO. A watch initially designed for the confidential collection intended for submariners, equipped with a day/night function. The civilian version of the NESO is the fruit of the great friendship between Philippe Bourseiller and Fabrice Pougez, as well as Philippe's various travels and his feedback from MATWATCHES watches. Fabrice quickly saw the need to create a GMT watch with a bous function.

THE NESO, AN INVITATION TO TRAVEL AND DISCOVERY.
Today, freedom and independence have become true luxuries. Travel is no longer the same as it used to be, and taking the time has become a seemingly unattainable holy grail. It is in this context that NESO comes into play. This watch serves as a guide to reclaim this feeling of freedom and openness towards new horizons. She invites us on a journey of encounters and authenticity, to discover new worlds and make our dreams come true.
The GMT function combined with the red hand within the dial, as well as the use of the rotating bezel graduated over 24 hours, makes it possible to indicate several time zones. The GMT function is commonly used by travelers who want to know the time in different locations around the globe, as well as pilots who want to plan their arrival time at their destination. Additionally, the GMT hand can also serve as a compass. In the Northern Hemisphere, it will indicate North when the hour hand is pointing towards the sun. In the Southern Hemisphere, it will point south. From there, it is easy to determine the other three cardinal points: South, West and East. With this feature, the NESO becomes a reliable and precise expedition companion, guiding modern adventurers in the exploration of unknown territories.
The NESO is designed to provide efficient and easy use in all conditions, day or night. The blue dial, matching the rotating bezel, is refined and devoid of any numerals. At 12 o'clock, 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock, three oversized triangles recall the three cardinal points: North, East and West. At 6 o'clock, the date draws the 4th cardinal marker. The round-shaped luminous hands and indexes in Super Luminova ensure optimal readability of the time and all the functions offered by the watch.
